Mail & Postal Service
Korea has very reliable postal service that is comparable to that of any Western country.
Post offices are conveniently located in every city and town, and private delivery services (such as DHL, Federal Express and UPS) are just a phone call away. |
Korea Post divides the countries of the world into four groups, and almost every English-speaking country (U.S.A., Canada, U.K., Australia, and New Zealand) belongs to the third group. Postal charges are graded, with "Group 1" countries being the cheapest and "Group 4" countries the most expensive.
