IMEA formed at Sydney, Australia in 2000.
We have three major divisions.

- Recruiting English Teachers to Korea and China
- Run Study Tour camp program in Australia for Korean student
- Co-ordinate events and films/documentary

IMEA is a boutique company that specializes in recruiting English teachers for South Korea and China. Since its establishment in 2000, IMEA has recruited many teachers for both short and long-term positions.

Some applicants are experienced teachers, but some are not. Some have traveled around the world but many applicants have never visited Korea in their overseas travels. Some teachers thrive in a new culture but others find it more challenging. But all of these people have something in common: IMEA tries to make their experience suitable to each candidate, and caters to their individual wants and needs. We strive to match recruiters’ needs with what teachers want from the experience both professionally, culturally and financially. Their appreciation is shown through the long-lasting friendships we develop. I believe “You may meet someone only once in your life, so make every moment count.”

The stable growth and success of IMEA can be attributed to satisfied teachers and recruiters as IMEA works with the top schools and organizations in Korea and only recruits for legitimate employers. We deliver a comprehensive service including assisting with visa applications, arrangement of air tickets and accommodation, and advice on cultural transitions.

IMEA recruits for long-term placements all year round and for summer and winter camps that run from July to August and December to January every year. These short-term placements run from 2 to 6 weeks.
